Day 22 - Singapore
After breakfast we walked to Marina Bay and to see the Merlion. A new pedestrian bridge over the Singapore River was installed in 2015 for Singapores Golden Jubilee, so the country is now 60 years old. There are still high rise blocks being built.

Later we visited Gardens by the Bay. It was interesting to see how the plants around the artifial trees have grown to the top of the trunks, some further, since we were last here in 2013.

We came back to the hotel and I had a swim and a rest before going to nearby Chinatown.

After eating we returned to Chinatown which was really atmospheric at night time.
