Day 17 - Yarra Valley

Lara and Alan took us out today for a drive into the Yarra Valley.  As we left it was warm and sunny - at last.  We first stopped at De Bottali Vineyard where there were lovely views over the vineyards and hills.  We did some wine tasting and had a walk around the estate.

We then went to the Yarra Valley Chocolatier and Ice Creamery which was very popular and very busy.  By this time it was raining hard so we had to stay in the shop.  We had an ice cream and some chocolate tastings.

We then went for lunch at a pub nearby before coming back via a big outdoor store called Anaconda.  This was an amazing shop with everything for the outdoors.  Oliver is going camping with the scouts next weekend so needed some equipment.

We then came back to Laras where it was raining heavily and had turned very cold. A bit later when it stopped raining we had a walk around the local park.
